Our standard rental property lease is to cover all the bases for both the renter and property owner. In the section of addendums, you may see extra pages for a lead paint or bedbugs addendums which are required by law in certain regions and properties. Specific addendums include details stating the condition of the water heater, our diligence in checking for bedbugs, and installation in the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in the rental. We strive to have a lease that addresses all parties' concerns and a one page lease would provide minimal protection. Plus, it's all digital, so no leafing through paper piles to read it!
